Did you give the ring bearer the real rings, or did you decide to go for faux? What suggestions do you have for keeping your little groomsmen in line? Let us look at some Ring Rivals I know lots of people have crazy ring bearer stories - the little boy dropped the rings,or lost them, or gave them to a guest - but I think my story takes the cake! My 4-year-old ring bearer refused to give us the rings! He marched down the aisle, held up the pillow - and when we reached for our wedding rings, he pulled them away so fast that our heads were spinning! We tried to gently coax him into holding the pillow up for us, but he wouldn't. We asked him if we could have the rings; he told us, no. So, my husband reached over his head, grabbed the pillow, and literally had to wrestle it out of his hands! By the time he had secured the pillow, all the guests were cracking up and my poor little cousin was crying hysterically. My tip: in case of emergency, don't put your real rings on the pillow!"
